Mountain Home Center was formed in the mid 1980's, and the first shop was set up in the Lucky-Long's shopping center (now Albertson's-Long's). After quickly outgrowing that location, the store was moved to our current location, on Brockway Rd (formerly Hwy 267) in 1990.

Karen Mills, Tom and Alissa Just, and Skip Stahmer have owned and operated the business since 1998, and have a combined 65 years of experience in the local hearth and spa retail industry.

Currently, we have 20 full-time employees, 10 company vehicles (all 4-wheel drives, of course), 3500 square feet of showroom space and 3600 square feet of warehousing space. At last count our showroom had a total of 70 fireplaces on display, with at least 12 of them as live "burn" units. There are 8 spas on display, with two of them ready at all times for our customers to test-soak. Saunas, BBQs, Patio furniture, and accessories more than fill out the remainder of the store.
