What’s good on the grill in August? Try this grilled salad for 4.
Whisk, in a medium bowl:
3 Tbsp. virgin olive oil
3 Tbsp. balsamic
2 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. honey
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add 4 medium plums (quartered), toss to coat. Transfer plums to plate.
Brush 12 to 16 small, curly kale leaves with the vinaigrette and grill on both sides. Cool and trim large center ribs or tough stems.
Serve all with a dollop or two of ricotta cheese.
