Inside Sales

Mountain Home Center in Truckee is growing and is looking to hire for Inside Sales Representative. Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer-centric service to guests and clients- walk-ins, phones, and online inquiries
  • Learn and become an expert on our specific products
  • Occasional assisting of lifting of moderately heavy products
  • Follow thru on leads, quotes, and orders, as well as post-sale follow ups.
  • Keep showroom displays up to date, and properly clean
  • Continue to grow your business
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential clients

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field
  • Energetic, personable and able to multitask
  • Strong math and communication skills
  • Tech savy. Able to utilize POS programs, as well as communicate efficiently in the digital world!
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Fireplace, Hot tub and Patio/Outdoor Furniture experience helpful but not mandatory. If you are bright and have a desire to learn we will teach you!

Part-Time, Seasonal Retail Sales Clerk, Downtown Location

This position is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service and point of sale transactions.

The Retail Sales Clerk is a member of the Sales Team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and provide a welcoming environment for Customers
  • Ring Up Point of Sale Transactions
  • Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate department
  • Maintain Showroom Appearance
  • Merchandise Restocking

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pricing Product as needed
  • Seasonal Special Projects

SKILLS NEEDED:

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service, even in challenging situations
  • Strong Attention to Detail/Accuracy
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Strong Computer Skills & Knowledge of Point Of Sale Systems
  • Accurate Cash/Payment Handling
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, stay on task
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment when routing calls and giving information to callers
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to coordinate with many people in multiple departments

RESULTS REQUIRED:

  • Work Completed with Accuracy
  • Completes assigned tasks within the deadline provided
  • Gives customers immediate attention
  • Demonstrates a very high degree of autonomy and judgment to complete frequent and varied tasks

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with phone systems
  • Retail knowledge and experience
