Dec 15, 2016 | Home Decor, Recipes

Easy to make and delicious. Simply add coffee, flannel pajamas, half-opened stockings… and, you have the perfect Christmas morning.

Ingredients:

3 cups all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs
2/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter, melted

Method:

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. In another bowl, beat-up the eggs and sugar until smooth. Add the pumpkin, molasses, milk, and butter. Beat-up again. Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry mixture while blending together (don’t overdo it.) Pour batter onto a sprayed preheated waffle iron. Cook per instructions on waffle iron. Makes 4 to 6.
